Archived Climatic data ENEA DBT
It contanes data and Solar Radiation maps for Italy obtained by ENEA up to 1999: the data refer to the monthly average values of the daily global radiation (Rggmm)on a horizontal plane and in tables for about 1600 italian locations; the maps and the extracted table data express the same Rggmm on a horizontal plane with a spatial resolution of about 2.5 km x 2.5 km. The maps are estimated from the satellite images of cloud cover acquired by the European satelite EumetSAT. Maps and tabled data are published also here: pdf version (italian only).

The Italian Federation for energy efficiency
FIRE (The Italian Federation for energy efficiency) is an independent non-profit organization, whose purpose is to promote sustainability and the efficient use of energy. FIRE was founded in 1987 by ENEA (the Italian national agency for new technologies, energy and sustainable economic development) and two energy manager associations, AIGE (Associazione italiana per la gestione dell'Energia) and EMC (Energy Manager Club). Associazione Italiana Solare Termico

SolarPACES
SolarPACES is an international cooperative organization bringing together teams of national experts from around the world to focus on the development and marketing of concentrating solar power systems (also known as solar thermal power systems). It is one of a number of collaborative programs managed under the umbrella of the International Energy Agency to help find solutions to worldwide energy problems.

EUMETSAT
EUMETSAT is the European operational satellite agency for monitoring weather, climate and the environment from space. The main purpose of the EUMETSAT is to deliver weather and climate-related satellite data, images and products 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This information is supplied to the National Meteorological Services of the organisation's 20 Member and 10 Cooperating States in Europe, as well as other users world-wide. EUMETSAT is an international organisation and was founded in 1986.
